Job summary

Globe Locums, the UK's medical recruitment agency run by clinicians for clinicians, is seeking a Biomedical Scientist (Biochemistry) in Nottingham on an ongoing contract. The role is Band 6 with a 9:00am–5:00pm Monday–Friday schedule and some shifts until 9:00pm, paying £26 per hour.

You will use Winpath Enterprise and Roche analyzers (e801 and c702/703) and Tosoh G11 for HbA1c analysis, with HCPC registration and DBS clearance required.

Qualifications

• 1 year post-graduate experience in biomedical science
• HCPC registration
• DBS/Police check
• Passport/Visa valid
• Fully compliant to work in clinical labs

Responsibilities

• Perform biochemical analyses and operate Winpath Enterprise
• Run Roche analyzers (e801, c702/703) and Tosoh G11 HbA1c analyzer
• Ensure quality control and regulatory compliance

• Pay Rate-£26 per hour (£22.61 PAYE)
• Band 6
• Monday to Friday (9:00am - 5:00pm) - some shifts until 9:00pm
• Experience using Winpath Enterprise
• Experience in using Roche analysers, specifically the e801 and c702/703
• Experience in using Tosoh G11 for HbA1c analysis
