Job summary

A healthcare staffing provider is seeking a locum role in West Midlands, UK, focused on stock management within healthcare settings. Responsibilities

  • Lead on day-to-day stock top-ups to wards / departments.
  • Communicate closely with external stock provider.
  • Actively support and participate in stock management.
  • Chase outstanding orders and follow-up on MCS issues.
  • Respond to priority and urgent requests.
  • Communicate anticipated stock delays.
  • Support with administrative duties.
  • Support the senior technician with day-to-day processes.
  • Assist with drug alerts.
  • Support with medicine safe and secure storage audits.

This is an open ended locum role, available until substantive appointment is made

💡 Key Duties :
  • Lead on day-to-day stock top-ups to wards / departments, to include placing electronic orders on Wellsky
  • Communicate closely with external stock provider
  • Actively support and participate in stock management.
  • Chase outstanding orders and follow-up on MCS issues
  • Respond to priority and urgent requests
  • Communicate anticipated stock delays
  • Support with administrative duties
  • Support the senior technician with day-to-day processes
  • Assist with drug alerts
  • Support with medicine safe and secure storage audits
