Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner to support community health and primary care services in Sedbergh. This flexible, sessional role suits ANPs who can deliver independent clinical assessments and respond to urgent patient demand.

You will perform advanced triage, minor illness management and routine care, with prescribing within your scope and robust digital documentation. Flexible weekday, evening and weekend shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Level 7 ANP qualification.
• V300 Independent Prescribing.
• Experience in community, GP or urgent care.
• Strong assessment and decision‑making ability.
• Comfortable adapting to new clinical settings.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ANP-led sessions within community and primary care services.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments.
• Manage minor illness and same-day presentations.
• Support urgent care demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribe within scope of practice.
• Complete follow-up reviews and clinical tasks.
• Maintain clear, accurate digital documentation.
