You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate) required.
  • V300 Independent Prescribing.
  • Experience in primary care, urgent care or walk-in settings.
  • Ability to work autonomously and safely.
  • Familiarity with EMIS / SystmOne / Vision.
  • Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

  • Run minor illness and acute assessment clinics.
  • Complete long-term condition reviews where required.
  • Telephone triage and clinical decision-making.
  • Independent prescribing and medication reviews.
  • Order and interpret investigations.
  • Maintain clear, accurate clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics
  • Completing long-term condition reviews where required

  • Independent prescribing and medication reviews
  • Ordering and interpreting investigations
  • Clear, accurate clinical documentation
  • Working collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs
Requirements
