Hamble Valley Health is recruiting an experienced Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the Urgent Care Centre team at Bursledon Surgery. The role is 27 hours per week, with shifts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, offering flexible, part-time hours in a supportive community practice.

You will assess and triage patients, provide definitive care where appropriate (including prescribing within policy), and refer to other clinicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current UK registration.
• Must have Nurse Prescribing and ability to see both children and adults.
• Experience in nurse-led triage and management of minor illnesses.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe, effective, evidence-based care through autonomous clinical decision-making.
• Undertake and interpret diagnostics and manage patient care per guidelines.
• Signpost to other services in the healthcare pathway as needed.
• Communicate sensitive condition-related information to patients and carers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and care provided.
