Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care in Launceston. This flexible sessional role offers varied shifts across community clinics, ideal for ANPs delivering independent assessments and supporting urgent patient demand.

You will contribute to local health services with advanced triage, minor illness management and routine clinical support in well-structured settings, including prescribing within scope and thorough follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Level 7 ANP qualification or equivalent required.
• V300 Independent Prescribing is essential.
• Experience in community, GP or urgent care environments.
• Strong assessment and decision-making ability.
• Comfortable adapting to new clinical settings.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ANP-led sessions within community and primary care services.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments.
• Manage minor illness and same-day presentations.
• Support urgent care demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribe within scope of practice.
• Complete follow-up reviews and clinical tasks.
