Locum Ready is seeking Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioners to cover flexible local sessions from Brae Terrace across primary care. You will run autonomous ANP-led clinics, manage acute and minor illness, triage by telephone or face-to-face, and prescribe within your scope.

Each booking adapts to clinician availability with strong clinical support from service leads. Requirements: Level 7 ANP, V300 Prescribing, GP/urgent care experience, DBS.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification.
• V300 Independent Prescribing.
• Experience in GP, urgent care, walk-in or community services.
• Confident working autonomously in new environments.
• Adaptability across different clinical systems.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running independent ANP clinics across various primary care settings
• Managing acute and minor illness presentations
• Telephone and face-to-face triage
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence
• Handling clinical actions such as results and follow-up
• Documenting accurately within each service’s clinical system
