Job summary

Medicopartners seeks a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work in Sandwell, with a background in Primary Care, A&E or Urgent Treatment Centres. You will provide advanced clinical care in a busy urgent care setting.

Salary is £42 on weekdays and £44 at weekends, with 2.5 to 3.0 calls per hour. Requires MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or Level 7 Minor Illness/Injury, Prescribing (V300), and active NMC/HCPC registration.

Qualifications

• Must have Master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice or Level 7 qualification in Minor Illness and Injury.
• Prescribing certificate (V300) is required.
• Current registration with NMC and HCPC is mandatory.

Required Documents:

• Enhanced DBS -

  if on the update service we need original to compare

  if not on the update service – valid within 3 years

• Right to Work- in date passport or full-size birth certificate (colour)
• Copy of valid registration – NMC and HCPC

• Must have:

  • Prescribing certificate (V300)
  • Master’s in advanced clinical Practice
  • Level 7 qualification in Minor Illness
  • Level 7 qualification in Minor Injury or
  • Level 7 qualification specific to the role i.e., diabetic Nurse Specialist/ACP
• Proof of Indemnity
• 2 References – within 2 years
• Vaccination history - Tetanus, diptheria and poli, MMR, BCG, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Influenza – preferable but not mandatory,
• Basic Life Support – adults - within the past 12 months
• Basic Life Support – paeds - within the past 12 months
• Safeguarding Adults level 3 – within the past 3 years
• Safeguarding Children level 3 - within the past 3 years

Must be Master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice / HEE ACP Digital Badge or Level 7 qualification in Minor Illness and Injury. Prescribing certificate (V300).

Must have experience in Primary Cares, A&E and Urgent Treatment Centres/Out of Hours
