Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Uckfield. The role suits an experienced ACP from nursing, paramedic, or allied health backgrounds who can deliver autonomous clinical assessments and safe decision-making within a structured primary care environment.

You will join an established multidisciplinary team and run your own clinics, supporting both urgent and routine patient demand with clear pathways and strong administrative support.

Qualifications

• Advanced ACP with Level 7/postgraduate training.
• Experience in primary/urgent care environments.
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducting acute and same-day access clinics.
• Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated presentations.
• Telephone triage and clinical streaming.
• Ordering and interpreting investigations.
• Prescribing safely within scope (where qualified).
• Managing follow-up actions, results and referral workflows.
• Documenting clearly using the practice clinical system.
