Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners to deliver autonomous ACP-led care across primary care and community settings in Kirkby. You will work in a flexible pattern, choosing sessions that suit your skills and preferred working style.

The role involves running independent ACP clinics, managing acute presentations, and supporting urgent care needs through triage and streaming, with on-site clinical lead support.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification is required.
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300/equivalent) desirable.
• Experience in primary care, community or urgent care services.

Responsibilities

• Run independent ACP clinics in community and GP environments.
• Manage acute and undifferentiated presentations.
• Support urgent care demand through triage and streaming.
• Prescribe and initiate treatment where qualified.
• Complete follow-up tasks and review results.
• Record detailed and accurate clinical notes.
