Job summary

Locums First is seeking Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners for flexible sessional work at Westburn Road. You will join established teams to perform autonomous assessments, manage acute presentations and support routine primary care activity.

Sessions are arranged to suit your schedule, with opportunities including urgent access clinics, triage-based work, or routine appointments depending on service needs.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7) required.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred.
• Experience in GP, UTC, walk-in or urgent care services.
• Ability to adapt to different clinical environments.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Delivering independent ACP-led clinics across local primary care settings.
• Assessing and managing undifferentiated presentations.
• Providing telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within your scope of practice.
• Supporting clinical workflows such as results and follow-up actions.
• Documenting accurately within service-specific clinical systems.
