Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 8a Acute Pharmacist in Aintree, UK, to deliver pharmaceutical care in the acute hospital setting across multiple sites. This full-time role offers an ASAP start and ongoing assignment for a skilled pharmacist.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, ensure medication safety, manage medication supply and procurement, and contribute to audits and clinical research, leveraging your postgraduate diploma and HCPC registration.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with a Postgraduate Clinical Diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital clinical pharmacy.
• HCPC registration is essential.
• A car driver is preferable due to the multi-site nature of the role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to acute patients, ensuring medication safety and efficacy.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
• Offer expert clinical advice and support to healthcare professionals and patients.
• Manage the supply, dispensing, and procurement processes for medications within the hospital.
• Participate in clinical audits and research projects to drive improvements in patient care.
