Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Norwich to run autonomous clinics within a GP practice. You will manage urgent and routine patient demand, supported by a structured primary care workflow and clear pathways.

The role suits experienced ACPs from nursing, paramedic, or allied health backgrounds with Independent Prescribing preferred. Flexible sessions up to 4 days per week, morning and afternoon slots available, with long-term ongoing engagement.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification required (Level 7/postgraduate).
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar accepted.

Responsibilities

• Conducting acute and same-day access clinics.
• Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated presentations.
• Telephone triage and clinical streaming.
• Ordering and interpreting investigations.
• Prescribing safely within scope (where qualified).
• Managing follow-up actions, results and referral workflows.
• Documenting clearly using the practice clinical system.

Locum Ready is looking for a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to work for a GP practice in Norwich. This role is ideal for an experienced ACP from a nursing, paramedic, or allied health background who can deliver autonomous clinical assessments, safe decision-making and efficient patient management within a structured primary care environment.

You will join an established multidisciplinary team and run your own clinics, supporting both urgent and routine patient demand. The practice offers clear pathways, strong administrative support and a smooth workflow to ensure effective session delivery.

Requirements
