University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is offering a fixed-term registrar post in Plastic Surgery within one of the country’s largest Burns, Plastics and Hands units. The role supports NTN pathways and provides extensive training opportunities, with potential extension depending on allocations.
The post is suitable for those aiming for NTN in Plastic Surgery and offers structured supervision and teaching.
Note this post is currently fixed term until February 2027 due to gaps within the Deanery rota numbers. Depending on future allocations this post may extend further. An exciting opportunity for hard-working and ambitious plastic surgeons to join a well-established registrar program in one of the largest Burns, Plastics and Hands units in the country. This job is tailored according to the experience of the candidate and would be very suitable for candidates seeking a national training number (NTN) in Plastic Surgery. We have a robust track record in registrars working in this post securing a NTN. 100% of the Pre-ST3 Fellows appointed in August 2022 were offered NTNs in National Selection 2023. We take pride that our non-deanery trainees have the same training opportunities as deanery trainees. Note there may be opportunities from Feb - May 2027 pending later allocation information.
