Qualifications

Local Service Manager (Registered Manager)

Gravesend, Kent, DA11

£42,949 - £45,201 per annum

37.5 hours per week

Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to recruit a Local Service Manager to oversee three services across Gravesend, Chatham and Faversham with a total of 25 service users spanning Homelessness, Mental Health and Learning Disability.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall delivery of the service, managing the team and liaising with the Area Service Manager
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partners, key stakeholders and external agencies
  • Oversee the overall delivery of the services and work closely with internal and external partners to achieve KPI's
  • Oversee the service's financial performance and manage the budget
  • Recruit, manage performance and develop staff
  • Provide flexibility around working hours in accordance with the needs of the service
  • Take responsibility for health and safety in the service
Qualifications
  • Previous experience of working in a CQC Registered managerial role within a similar service
  • Knowledge of supported accommodation
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Compassionate, caring and hard‑working with a hands‑on approach to support
  • Experience of providing personalised support to service users to maximise opportunities for personal development
  • Proven ability to liaise effectively with statutory and voluntary partners
  • Full, valid driving licence required – travel is a requirement of the role
