Job summary

Liberty Property Maintenance (Part of WPS Group) is recruiting a Multi Trade Joiner for our responsive maintenance team in Leeds, covering social housing properties in the Northeast. This permanent full-time role offers 8am–4:30pm with some flexibility and a starting salary of £35,842, plus progression opportunities and a company van with fuel card.

You’ll perform a range of joinery, plumbing, plastering and basic roofing in voids and occupied properties, working with autonomy to plan and carry

Qualifications

• Solid experience as multi skilled operative in social housing.
• A core trade (plumbing, joinery, plastering) plus an additional skill.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own jobs.
• Full UK driving license.
• Relevant qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Responsive Repairs and working in void properties, getting them ready for new tenants.
• Day to day carrying out a wide range of joinery, plumbing, plastering and basic roofing.
• Diagnose issues and plan your own work on-site.
• Move between properties, sometimes completing jobs in a day, sometimes staying longer on larger works.
• Ensure properties are safe, clean and ready for handover.
• Liaising with customers and Supervisors.
