Job summary

Stannah is seeking a Lift Repair Engineer to cover Chichester and surrounding areas. This hands-on role focuses on repairs, fault finding, and keeping lifts running reliably, across a local patch with no long-distance travel.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, replace components, attend breakdowns, and ensure safe operation while completing accurate site paperwork. A driving licence and NVQ Level 3 lift engineering are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out repairs and fault finding on lifts
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues
• Replacing and upgrading components
• Attending breakdowns and supporting call-outs
• Getting lifts back into service safely and efficiently
• Completing site paperwork and keeping records up to date
