Job summary

OneTrendy Fix It Services is seeking an experienced independent cleaner to collaborate with us on multiple projects each month, supporting charities managing affordable homes across Gloucester, Cheltenham, and Tewkesbury.

You’ll reset homes with attention to detail, tackle end-of-tenancy cleans, and report maintenance issues. You’ll work flexibly as a contractor with your own tools and transport, ensuring every property is ready for inspection.

Qualifications

• Independent cleaner with own tools and transport.
• Clear liability insurance (£1 million) required.
• Ability to work independently across Gloucestershire towns.

Responsibilities

• Deep-clean properties including kitchens, bathrooms and living areas.
• Take before-and-after photographs when requested.
• Report damage, mould, leaks or maintenance issues.
• Leave properties secure, tidy and ready for inspection.
• Complete end-of-tenancy, move-in/out and pre-sale cleans.

Do you take pride in turning “needs a bit of attention” into “wow, it looks brand new”? We are looking for a dependable, energetic professional cleaner to help prepare residential properties for new tenants, homeowners, viewings, and handovers.

OneTrendy Fix It Services is seeking an experienced independent cleaner to collaborate with us on multiple projects each month. We work closely with housing charities managing affordable homes across Gloucester, Cheltenham, and Tewkesbury, and we need trusted professionals like you to help secure these properties.

This is more than ordinary cleaning. You’ll be giving homes a proper reset—tackling the details that make a property feel fresh, cared for, and ready for its next chapter.

What you’ll be doing

• Deep-cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, hallways and living areas
• Cleaning windows, frames, sills, doors, skirting boards and light fittings
• Vacuuming carpets and thoroughly cleaning hard floors
• Cleaning high‑touch areas such as handles, switches and bannisters
• Removing cobwebs and dust from difficult‑to‑reach areas
• Completing end‑of‑tenancy, move‑in, move‑out and pre‑sale cleans
• Reporting damage, leaks, mould, pests or maintenance issues
• Taking before‑and‑after photographs when requested
• Leaving each property secure, tidy and ready for inspection

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as an independent cleaner with your own tools and transport.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently across Gloucester, Cheltenham, and Tewkesbury.
• Valid liability insurance (minimum £1 million cover) is required for partnership.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Professional attitude with excellent communication skills.

• Confident using cleaning products safely
• Friendly, professional, and confident communicating with landlords, agents, and homeowners
• Able to spot issues that need reporting rather than simply cleaning around them
• Complete jobs on time and submit clear invoices promptly.

Payment Terms

We operate on a bi-weekly payment cycle. Payment will be made within two weeks of invoice submission following our payment schedule.
