Job summary

Franklin Building Supply is seeking a DOT Driver for local routes, delivering building materials to job sites and returning loads as needed. This role combines physical labor with customer interaction, staying active throughout the shift and returning home each night.

As an employee‑owner, you share in the company’s success while maintaining a hands‑on role in loading, unloading, and operating a forklift. A valid CDL, DOT medical card, and reliability are required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor throughout the shift.
• Works outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to operate a tablet with minimal supervision.
• Authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify).

Responsibilities

• Drive DOT-regulated Class A or B trucks to job sites safely.
• Load and unload building materials by hand; physical labor required.
• Operate a forklift to move and stage materials.
• Place and arrange materials at job sites per preferences.
• Represent Franklin Building Supply professionally with customers and subcontractors.
• Process material returns accurately and efficiently.
• Support the crew and foreman to keep deliveries moving.
• Stay current on building materials to assist customers.
