The role requires an NCTJ-qualified journalist with knowledge of local government issues and strong social media skills. You will engage with the community to ensure their voices are heard while holding local authorities accountable. This full-time position offers a range of benefits including 25 days holiday, a bonus scheme, and comprehensive wellbeing support.
Do you want to shine a light on the daily decisions of councils, to ensure politicians keep their promises and to break essential stories about public interest issues?
We are looking for someone to join us at the Liverpool Echo as a Local Democracy Reporter to live and breathe the decisions being made by Knowsley & Seftoncouncils.
