Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is seeking a Class 2 ADR Cylinder delivery driver to join a safety-first logistics team in the Ivybridge area. You will operate local routes, perform vehicle checks, and ensure safe loading and securement of cylinders.

The role requires a UK Class 2 licence with Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph card, ADR gas (2) licence, and experience with HGV Class 2 deliveries. Strong knowledge of UK road safety and customer-facing professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (C) licence with a current Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card.
• ADR licence in gas (2) packages.
• Experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles; cylinder or multi-drop delivery experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of UK road safety and compliance with driving regulations.
• Ability to load and secure goods safely, following manual handling procedures.
• Good route planning and time management to meet delivery schedules.
• Clear communication skills and a professional approach with customers and site staff.
• Physically active role with safe lifting and handling when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver cylinders safely and efficiently on local routes.
• Complete pre-start checks and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy before departure.
• Load, secure, and unload cylinders following safe handling procedures.
• Follow all transport regulations, company policies, and site requirements.
• Maintain delivery records and complete paperwork accurately.
• Provide professional service to customers and ensure deliveries meet specification.
• Report defects, incidents, or delays to the transport team promptly.
• Drive with due care for pedestrians and other road users.
