A leading automotive company in Exeter is seeking a Local Business Development Manager to foster relationships and drive sales within the local business community. The successful candidate will promote the brand, develop a client database, and manage vehicle sales while meeting performance targets. This role offers a competitive base salary of £35,000 with an OTE of £55,000 and excellent benefits including 25 days holiday and a pension scheme.
We are currently recruiting for a Local Business Development Manager to join us at our Vertu Land Rover Exeter. As a Business Development Manager you will use your prospecting, relationship and networking skills to promote the brand to the local business community and beyond. We are offering a basic salary of £35,000 with an OTE of £55,000 plus excellent company benefits including a company car! Within this role you will be responsible for growing and developing the Corporate and Local Business database and sell cars to this community. You will be selling Contract Hire and Leasing packages as well as outright purchase transactions to the business community. You will be developing relationships and sell vehicles to new prospects and maintain existing business customers by renewing their existing vehicles with the brand. You will also consistently achieve budgeted new car and commercial vehicle volumes and Franchise related targets through prospecting and presenting our products & services to local businesses as well as helping grow the aftersales business through the volume of corporate cars sold in each area. You will consistently achieve the Fleet Departments Monthly New Car Sales registration targets and Brand Key Performance Indicators.
We require a proven track record of sales and performance, unlimited confidence, resilience, drive, energy and talent. You must be well presented with a desire, character and attitude to succeed, capable of quickly establishing rapport. A clean driving licence and FCA approval (or willingness to be trained) is required.
