Job summary

DPD UK in Bournemouth is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our local delivery team. You will own a designated route, completing around 40–50 stops daily with a focus on on-time, friendly service using Saturn handheld devices.

The role requires a valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation, plus about 6 months of recent driving experience. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with a 07:00–08:30 start window and opportunities for growth within a sustainability-focused organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience: Ideally 6 months recent driving experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes with safety, professionalism, and efficiency.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to track progress, manage deliveries, and stay ahead.
• Be the friendly face customers see every day and provide excellent service.
• Load and unload parcels using sacks and hand trucks, ensuring safe lifting.
