Job summary

A major beverage supplier in the UK is seeking a Loans Investment Advisor to guide clients through new funding opportunities and manage loan facilities. The successful candidate will assess risks, deliver clear recommendations on loan proposals, and maintain relationships with internal and external parties. Ideal candidates should have CICM qualifications and experience in credit or lending roles. Qualifications

  • Must be CICM qualified or have an A Level equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing financial information.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationships with all Business Partners.
  • Conduct full risk assessments of loan proposals.
  • Serve as a reference point for customer loan inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
  • Support processing and review of Indirect Investment proposals.
  • Assist stakeholders with ongoing loan applications and accounting issues.
  • Attend Pricing Board and Sales Teams meetings as needed.

Skills

CICM Qualified or A Level Equivalent
Previous experience in a similar credit or lending role assessing financial information
Organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and plan daily tasks without referral
Working knowledge of ERP(SAP) 365 Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Team player contributing to joint objectives

About the role

As Loans Investment Advisor youll be the trusted point of contact for both internal teams and external customers guiding them through new funding opportunities and managing existing loan facilities. Youll play a key role in assessing risk and delivering clear recommendations on loan proposals and renegotiations ensuring every decision aligns with company policy and meets full statutory compliance.

Role Responsibilities
  • Maintain cross functional relationships with all Business Partners and demonstrate excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Complete full risk assessments of loan proposals including analysis of searches financial analysis compliance checks and review of relevant experience.
  • Be a reference point for customers in respect for all loan enquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations internal lending policy & procedures alongside Group audit third party screening procedures and GDPR policy.
  • Support colleagues to ensure processing and review of all Indirect Investment proposals liaising with the sales teams to ensure compliance with the approved workflow.
  • Provide support for internal stakeholders with any ongoing loan applications renegotiations accounting issues and general queries.
  • Attend occasional Pricing Board and Sales Teams meetings.
Experience and Key Attributes
