The Role

Structured Funds Solutions (SFS) Loan Servicing team sits within the wider HSBC Innovation Banking Lending Operations department, providing operational support to the fund finance business.

The role focuses on the servicing of complex fund finance facilities, including Net Asset Value (NAV) facilities, Capital Call lines, and GP/LP structures, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a strong control framework in all client and internal interactions.

The Team You Will Work With

This position offers exposure to high-profile fund clients and collaboration with front office.

The Value You Will Add
  • Validate and co-ordinate all funding and flex requests in line with facility documentation and internal controls.
  • Review and interpret LMA loan documentation to ensure operational compliance.
  • Manage and resolve client queries, ensuring a high standard of communication and service delivery.
  • Support the wider SFS and Loan Operations teams, with ongoing portfolio monitoring, reconciliations and lifecycle event management.
  • Collaborate with TMG and Loan servicing to support new deal onboarding, amendments, and restructures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, risk management, and client experience.
The Experience You Will Need
  • Strong knowledge of Fund Finance products including NAV, Capital Call, and GP/LP structures.
  • Prior experience in Loan Operations, ideally within a Fund Finance environment.
  • Understanding of LMA documentation and the ability to interpret key operational clauses.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a time critical environment.
  • Loan IQ experience is essential for this role.

Our home office in Finsbury Square, London. We offer hybrid working to our employees, so you can flex between home and the office, with a current requirement to be in the office 2 days per week.
