Job Type: Holiday Cover (1 week + 1 week in December)

Start Date: 10/11/2025

Pay Rate: £18.00 - £24.00 per hour (Negotiable based on experience)

Overview

Morson Edge are looking for a Loading Shovel Driver in the Pershore area, due to upcoming holiday cover starting 10/11/2025. The role is holiday cover on an Asphalt Plant / Concrete Plant with Rail links in Pershore, and previous candidates will ideally have worked in a similar role, within the Aggregates sector.

Responsibilities
  • Operate the loading shovel in a safe and efficient manner
  • Transport materials to feed screens, bins and hoppers
  • Load and unload materials as required
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on the machine
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times
  • Report any issues or faults promptly
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold a valid CPCS or NPORS Wheeled Loading Shovel Licence
  • Previous experience working as a Loading Shovel Driver / Operator
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Punctual, reliable with good communication skills
  • Registered with MP Connect (not essential and can be processed upon starting)

Further work may be based at different locations over the remainder of the summer months, based on client needs.
