We have an opportunity available in Garioch cluster (Skene, Inverurie, Insch, Kemnay) and AHSCP community hospitals

Full Time/Part Time Opportunities (minimum of 22.2h/ week) Monday – Friday

We are looking for enthusiastic, GPhC registered pharmacy technician(s) to join developing pharmacy teams to deliver pharmacy services to GP practices within the Garioch cluster, and be part of the AHSCP pharmacy team supporting the community hospitals. We have an opportunity in this area and will utilise remote working to facilitate service delivery by local teams of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

The ideal candidates will be able to work well within a team, under direction and on their own initiative. Through on the job support and training successful candidates will gain experience to allow them to undertake a wide range of tasks to support seamless care such as medicines reconciliation, Medicines Care & Review, pharmaceutical queries including management of shortage and promoting quality, cost‑effective prescribing.

You may have a community or hospital pharmacy background or already be working within GP Practice as a pharmacy technician. Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential. Full driving licence and use of a car is essential.

Postholders will work across a wide area, this will involve onsite working in GP Practices and remote working from an agreed base. Bases and area of work will be discussed at interview.
