Job summary

A charity organization in the West Midlands is seeking a compassionate Lived Experienced Peer Volunteer for a part-time role (14 hours/week). You will play a crucial role in providing peer-led support and building relationships with service users, encouraging them to engage in drug and alcohol treatment after arrest. Ideal candidates have experience working with adults facing challenges and can serve as positive role models. Join us in making a difference in the lives of others.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working positively with adults.
  • Ability to engage with treatment support services.
  • Experience in peer-led support will be advantageous.

Are you a proactive, collaborative and compassionate individual with proven experience of working positively with adults to engage successfully despite ‘challenging’ behaviour? Do you have the ability to be a positive role model, demonstrating the virtues of engaging with treatment support services?

If so, St Giles is looking for a Lived Experienced Peer Volunteer to join our team and provide interventions and build meaningful, peer-led relationships with service users to encourage them to engage in drug and alcohol treatment following arrest.
