A leading healthcare provider in the UK seeks a lived experience engagement facilitator to enhance patient engagement within mental health services. You will be responsible for facilitating sessions with patients, ensuring their voices are heard in service development. Candidates should have lived experience of mental health issues or caregiving, along with strong communication and facilitation skills. Join a compassionate team committed to improving community wellbeing.
For more information on this role, please see the attached support information. This will give you a better overview of the role and requirements. For the first time, we're embedding lived experience roles across our inpatient mental health services, and we're looking for lived experience engagement facilitators to join us. As a lived experience engagement facilitator, you'll work on the ward with patients to ensure that those who access our services have a voice that is heard throughout all levels at CWPT from individual ward rounds all the way through to partnership board meetings. You'll work closely with several wards, developing good working relationships with patients, carers and staff. You'll facilitate sessions and hold spaces for individuals to share ideas on our services and how they are delivered via group sessions and/or one to ones, and will champion co‑production in the development of all services. You will then work with our transformation workstreams to feed back any information gathered to co‑design our inpatient services. If you're passionate about co‑production, we want to hear from you!
