Overview

Live out Nanny Job, Shepherds Bush, ASAP start. A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Live out Nanny to care for their four children. The children are 7 months, 3.5 years, 6.5 years, and 9.5 years old. Mum is around and there is a full-time housekeeper who can assist; the Nanny would rarely be in sole charge of all four children together.

The two older children go to school and the Nanny will be required to do the school pickups and drop offs by car. A full and clean driving licence is essential. The 3.5-year-old is going to nursery part-time. The days will likely increase to four a week in September 2025. The family is looking for someone safety-conscious, reliable, easy-going, friendly, warm, energetic and flexible. An understanding of the Steiner method / “aware parenting” would be an advantage, but being open to learn and adapt to it is essential.

An up to date first aid certificate and DBS are both essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Driving the children to/from school and nursery
• Cooking healthy and homemade meals and snacks
• Playing with the children, both outside in the park and within the home
• Managing wardrobes
• Keeping the children’s belongings and areas tidy and organized

Qualifications & Requirements

First aid certificate (up-to-date) and DBS are essential. A full, clean driving licence is essential; driving experience with children is preferred. Language: English required. A car will be provided for the role. Safety-conscious, reliable, warm, energetic, flexible, and able to engage with children aged 7 months to 9.5 years. An understanding of Steiner / aware parenting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Salary: £47,000 to £55,000 GPA dependent on experience

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 7.30 am to 5.30 pm
