Live Out Nanny, Basingstoke, ASAP Start

A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a bright, organised and creative nanny to help look after their two children aged 8 years and 6 months old. Both mum and dad are very hands on parents so the right candidate needs to be comfortable with some shared care as well as sole charge. This is a busy and cheerful household so the family are looking for someone who is positive, kind and a team player. They travel to London on night per week in term time so the nanny will be required to accompany them and stay over night in London. Experience with similar aged children, especially the 6 month old is essential as well as a confident driver, ideally with their own car. The family are looking for a nanny who will be with them for the long term.

Duties

• All nursery duties for the children
• Organising fun and educational activities, arts and crafts and imaginative play
• Keeping the children in a good routine
• Encouraging independence
• Arranging playdates, outdoor activities, someone who enjoys a country lifestyle
• Reading with the children and encouraging creative minds
• Helping with developmental milestones, weaning and potty training
• Cooking fresh, nutritious meals from scratch
• Bed and bathtime routine

Specification

• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 7am to 7pm
• Driver: Confident driver required
• Travel: 1 overnight per week in London in term time and some travel in the school holidays
• Language: Fluent English, Spanish a bonus
