Overview

Live Out Housekeeper/Nanny/Cook (Household Assistant), Clapham, London

A lovely client of Greycoats is looking for an all-rounder to help in their home. The family has three children aged 16, 14 and 8 years old. The eldest two are at boarding school Monday through Friday, and the youngest is still at home. The family are accompanied by two cats, so a pet lover is a must. The family will also hire a cleaner to assist with housekeeping.

A driver would be a real bonus and a car can be provided for work purposes. The ideal candidate will be calm, capable and able to use their initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Caring for the 8 year old on Saturday while parents are out at fixtures for the eldest children
  • Occasional school runs
  • Cooking for the family — simple family meals
  • Cleaning, laundry and ironing
  • Batch cooking for the weekends
  • Grocery shopping
  • Light PA duties

Details

Start date: As soon as the right person is found, ideally late September/early October.

Working week: Tuesday to Saturday

Working hours: Tuesday to Friday 11:00 – 19:00, Saturday 09:30 – 16:30 (there is room for flexibility on hours)

Salary: £21 gross per hour (open to reasonable negotiation dependent on experience and skill set)
