Overview

A private household in Hampshire near Winchester requires a housekeeper/cook for a live-out position, working four days per week. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to adapt to the evolving needs of the household.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are highly valued. Strong attention to detail, proactiveness and discretion are essential for this position. This is a long-term opportunity for the right person who will take pride in caring for a beautiful, well-run 11 bedroom home which has one large dog.

Responsibilities

• Daily and deep cleaning, laundry, ironing, wardrobe & shoe care.
• Household organisation and occasional supervision of contractors.
• Support the house manager with visiting guests.
• Assist with serving breakfast, lunches and dinners for principals and parties as and when required.
• Cooking of healthy meals for the family and visiting friends.
• Work alongside the current housekeeper and work alternate weekends when the family are in residence.

Qualifications

• Fluent spoken and written English.
• DBS check.
