HFH Healthcare in Stevenage, Hertfordshire is seeking a compassionate Live-In Personal Care Assistant to support a gentleman in his late 20s with a spinal cord injury. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care enabling daily living, mobility, bowel management, catheter care and engagement in social activities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries or complex care needs.
• Confidence with personal care, mobility assistance, and catheter care.
• Knowledge of bowel management and cough assist equipment is desirable.
• A caring, patient, and professional approach; reliable, flexible, and able to work independently within the client's home.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support with daily living activities.
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Supporting bowel management routines and catheter care.
• Assisting with the use of cough assist equipment.
• Promoting independence, wellbeing, and community involvement.
• Supporting social activities, appointments, and outings as required.
• Working collaboratively with the client, family members, and healthcare professionals.
