Live In or Daily Housekeeper Job – Chester / Wrexham area – Full-time - £40,000+ GPA

An experienced, detail-driven Housekeeper is required for a private household based in the Chester / Wrexham area. This is a full-time, permanent position working within a respectful and well-structured home alongside an Estate Manager and gardening team.

You must be proactive, discreet, and take pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards across all areas of the home. The client is looking either for a local live out Housekeeper however separate accommodation can be offered if required. This role would then be to start in March / April 2026 when the main accommodation will be ready, however and earlier start could be considered if the Housekeeper was happy to initially move into an alternative bungalow accommodation.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily and deep cleaning of all rooms and surfaces
• Laundry, ironing, and care of luxury and delicate garments
• Wardrobe organisation and packing/unpacking for travel
• Grocery shopping and dry-cleaning errands
• Occasional basic meal preparation
• Stock control and pantry/kitchen organisation
• Confident in the use of Word for household documentation
• Working closely with the Estate Manager and wider household team
• Occasional weekend support required

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in private households
• Skilled in garment care, laundry, and housekeeping
• Trustworthy, discreet, and highly organised
• Comfortable working under an Estate Manager as part of a small team
• Flexible, proactive, and detail-focused
• Clean UK driving licence required
• Enhanced DBS check and excellent references essential

This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a professional Housekeeper seeking a stable, respectful, and well-run private household.

Full-time role normally Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week to include occasional weekend work.

Accommodation can be offered in the form of a separate 3 bed property within the grounds and next to the estate office – all bills paid by the employer – the accommodation can be offered as furnished or unfurnished depending on the candidates.
