Job description

We are working with a lovely family based in Chiswick who are looking for a confident and experienced live-in nanny to join them long-term. The family have three children aged 4, 3, and 10 months, and is hoping to find someone who is genuinely comfortable managing the busy, joyful energy that comes with a young family. Mum will be returning to work after Christmas, and until then, she will be around to help the new nanny settle in and transition smoothly into the role.

This is a live-in position, and the nanny will have a private bedroom with an ensuite bathroom in the loft, offering a quiet space above the main family area. The family's previous nanny was with them for over two and a half years, and they are hoping to find someone who can form the same lasting relationship with both the children and the household.

During school term time, the nanny's day will include dropping the eldest at school (within a 15-minute walk) and the middle child at nursery. The baby attends local playgroups and enjoys time at the park in the mornings. The nanny will then collect the middle child for lunch and quiet time while the baby naps. The eldest may start an after-school activity in January, and currently has swimming on Mondays, which is handled by mum or grandparents, so the nanny can remain home with the younger two.

The role suits someone who enjoys being active and engaged. The middle child has plenty of energy and thrives with a nanny who can keep up with him and create fun, structured activities. Experience with multiple young children is essential, and the family are looking for someone who remains calm, capable, and proactive even on busier days. Cooking healthy, child-friendly meals and planning creative activities are part of the role, and while driving is a bonus, it isn't a necessity.

During the school holidays, the schedule becomes more full-on with all three children at home, so confidence in managing siblings together is key. The family do not require the nanny to travel with them.
