Job summary

Perfect Household Staff Ltd is seeking a reliable, experienced full-time live-in Housekeeper Cook for a private residence near Maidenhead, Berkshire. You will handle general cleaning, laundry, and basic meal preparation, while also managing shopping and pet care. A separate private cottage with facilities is provided.

Applicants must have UK right to work and DBS ready. The role requires initiative, discretion, and the ability to work independently, five days a week with potential weekend

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a private home.
• Ability to prepare simple family meals.
• Valid UK driving licence and confidence driving an automatic vehicle.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep the family home clean, tidy and well organised.
• Handle laundry, ironing, bed-linen changes and dry cleaning when required.
• Prepare simple family meals and assist with basic food preparation.
• Manage grocery shopping and delivery logistics; keep kitchen and cupboards clean.
• Look after the family dog and cat, including feeding and day-to-day care.
• Provide access to contractors and report relevant matters to principals.
