Overview

Informal friendly family has a vacancy for an experienced live-in House Manager/Housekeeper/Family Cook

Duties

Duties will include household management, organising & dealing with tradespeople, liaising with the principles, security of property, a high standard of general cleaning, organising, tidying, making & changing beds, laundry & ironing, family cooking. Care of the family dogs, taking to vets when needed etc

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5 years employed experience as a private House Manager/Housekeeper/Cook, with a proven track record & excellent references
• Must have exceptionally high standards of house management, housekeeping, laundry & ironing skills and be a good family Cook
• Dog lover essential as family have 2 dogs
• Car driver essential with own transport
• Have settled status in the UK with the right to work
• Partner welcome following own occupation, no pets or children
• Excellent spoken English
• Fit & active

Working hours & Conditions

• 5 days per week, to include weekend working when principles are in residence
• 40 hour working week
• Housesitting & care of dogs when family are away will be required
• Attractive cottage provided, utility bills apart from phone/internet included
• Starting salary £ 45,000 gross p.a
