We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Carer to support a male client with a spinal cord injury in Tunbridge Wells If you’re kind, reliable, and ready to bring care into someone’s daily life, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Client:

We are seeking a compassionate and upbeat female support worker to assist a male client with a spinal cord injury. He is a wheelchair user who requires full support with all aspects of daily living, including:

  • Personal care
  • Bowel and bladder management
  • Hoisting
  • Assistance with eating and drinking

Our client is a warm, friendly individual with a great sense of humour and a passion for life. He enjoys collecting toys, attending racing events, exploring nature and gardens, and visiting English Heritage sites.

About the Role:

You’ll provide one-to-one live-in care and companionship, helping to make each day enjoyable and fulfilling. This includes:

  • Delivering personal and physical care
  • Supporting daily routines and social activities
  • Preparing meals (he loves Eastern European and Italian food — no spicy dishes, please!)
  • Assisting with a night call at around 2am as part of the care routine
  • Maintaining a positive, caring, and uplifting atmosphere
About You:

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Cheerful, caring, and patient
  • Physically fit and able to assist with hoisting and transfers
  • A confident cook
  • Reliable and organised
  • Experienced in personal care (previous live‑in care experience preferred but not essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
