Opportunity at Verity Healthcare - Live-In Care Specialist

Verity Healthcare is a leading, trusted provider committed to delivering exceptional, high-quality Live-In Care. We are currently seeking Experienced, Highly Dedicated, and Compassionate Live-In Carers to provide continuous, 24-hour support to our elderly clients in their own homes within the March, Cambridgeshire area (PE15).

This rewarding role operates on a reliable One Week On / One Week Off rota, offering stability and excellent work-life balance for those committed to full‑time care.

Please note: Due to the personal nature of the care required and the specific needs of the client, this role is open to Male Applicants Only, in line with the occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010.

Your Core Role & Responsibilities

As a Live-In Carer, you become the cornerstone of our client's independence and well‑being. You will be residing in the client's home for the duration of your shift, providing comprehensive, continuous support, including:

  • Holistic Personal Care: Providing dignified assistance with all aspects of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
  • Specialised Support: Managing care for clients with complex needs, such as Dementia, Parkinson's, or post‑operative recovery (dependent on client requirement).
  • Medication Management: Safely and accurately administering or prompting prescribed medications in line with professional guidelines.
  • Companionship & Social Support: Offering meaningful social interaction, emotional encouragement, and facilitating client hobbies and interests.
  • Domestic Management: Managing household duties, including cooking nutritious meals, light cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
  • Detailed Record Keeping: Maintaining meticulous care records, handover notes, and communication logs.

Essential Requirements & Candidate Profile
  • Gender Requirement: MALE Applicants Only (Genuine Occupational Requirement).
  • Mandatory Experience: A minimum of 6‑12 months verifiable, paid experience in a professional care setting (Domiciliary, Residential, or previous Live‑In Care).
  • Commitment to Rota: Must be able to fully commit to the One Week On / One Week Off working schedule.
  • Local Residence (Preferred but not essential): Candidates residing in or near the March area (PE15) are strongly encouraged to apply for easier travel arrangements.
  • Compassion and Maturity: An empathetic approach combined with the emotional maturity required for continuous, sole‑carer responsibility.
  • Right to Work: Candidates must possess the permanent and unrestricted Right to Work in the UK.
