Overview

As a Live-in Care Assistant, you will live in the home of the person you are caring for, providing personalized care and support. Your presence will offer comfort and reassurance to both the individual and their loved ones, ensuring a high‑quality, compassionate care experience at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care and support to clients in their own homes.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as medication, washing/bathing, oral hygiene, and dressing.
• Support clients with daily tasks, including meal preparation and general housekeeping.
• Offer choices for social activities, accompany clients to lead meaningful lives, provide emotional support, and promote independence.
• Build positive relationships with clients’ families, loved ones, and other professionals involved in their support.
• Provide dignified assistance with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing, and medication.
• Offer physical and emotional support to those in your care.
• Enable participation in daily living tasks and activities.
• Assist with healthcare and personal appointments.
• Foster positive relationships with individuals, their families, colleagues, and other professionals.
• Confidence in using mobile technology to record and deliver care.
