Qualifications

• Experience in providing personal care and support for individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to assist with medication management and medical appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily activities including washing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Manage and administer prescribed medications on time.
• Assist with household tasks and maintain cleanliness in the home.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Live in carer to provide a blobk of approximately 7 - 10 days support each month, workng on a flexible rota with regular live in carer,

To support a lovely gentleman with Parkinsons disease to reman living in his own home.

Duties to include:

• Assistance with washing / showering and dressing each morning and assistance to change into nightware in the evening
• Preparation of food and drinks
• Assistance with regular time critical prescribed medications
• Escort to any required Medical appointments and assistance to order and collect prescribed medications from Local GP / Pharmacy
• Laundry
• Keep the home clean and tidy
• Manage Rubbish, Recyling and food waste and ensure correct bins are put out for collction
• Basic household maintenence such as changing lightbulbs
• Assist to complete weekly food shop
• Assist to go out for a walk each day (weather permitting)
