Job summary

Quality Life UK Ltd in Barton in Fabis is seeking a compassionate Live-In Carer to support a client in their home. You will live in from Monday 11am to the following Monday 11am, delivering personalised care to help the client live independently and with dignity.

Experience in dementia care is essential. We offer guaranteed contracted hours, free accommodation and meals, full DBS funding, ongoing training, and a supportive management team available 24/7.

Responsibilities

The Role

You'll live in the client's home on Monday 11am and come out the following Monday 11am, providing personalised support that enables them to enjoy the highest possible quality of life in familiar surroundings.

This is much more than a care role. It's about building meaningful relationships, offering companionship, and helping someone continue to live life their way.

Your Responsibilities

You'll support our client with a range of daily activities, including:

Companionship

• Building a positive relationship
• Providing conversation, encouragement and emotional support
• Sharing enjoyable activities and interests

Daily Living Support

• Supporting with shopping and household tasks
• Light housekeeping and laundry

Personal Care

• Assisting with washing, dressing and grooming
• Medication prompting and reminders
• Moving and handling support where required

Community Support

• Accompanying the client to appointments and outings
• Supporting hobbies, interests and exercise routines
• Driving when required

Must speak clear english

Dementia awareness training

Previous care experience is essential for this role.

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be advantageous.
