Job summary

We are CCH. A nationwide care provider seeking experienced female Live-in Care Assistants who can drive. You will live in the client’s home on a two-week on/off rotation and travel across the UK.

A full UK driving licence is essential, and visa sponsorship is not offered. You will receive a weekly pay of £770–£800 plus a £40 food allowance, with travel costs paid and a private room provided. This role requires female applicants due to the client’s personal care needs and you must be comfortable

Qualifications

• Be female, due to the client’s personal care requirements
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Be confident and willing to drive the client as required
• Have at least six months of care experience gained in the UK
• Be able to work a minimum two-week live-in placement without returning home
• Be willing to travel to placements across the UK
• Be confident planning, preparing and cooking meals
• Have the right to work in the UK without employer sponsorship
• Be compassionate, resilient, reliable and comfortable working independently

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support with daily routines
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Driving the client to appointments, activities and social outings
• Planning, preparing and cooking suitable meals
• Supporting with medication where required
• Shopping and completing light household tasks
• Helping the client remain as active and independent as possible
• Providing reassurance and support throughout the placement
