Job summary

Kingsley Homecare is expanding and seeking compassionate Live-In Carers to provide essential support to clients in their own homes across Norfolk and Suffolk. You will report to the Care Coordinator/Home Care Manager and play a vital role in personal care, meal preparation, and companionship.

We value excellent communication, patience, and the ability to work well under pressure. A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Caring and patient demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
• Caregiving experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Manage medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Observe and report changes in client health to carers or family.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities to reduce loneliness.
• Assist with transportation to appointments or social events as needed.
• Document care provided and any changes observed.
