Job Description

About the role

We are looking to recruit two live in care professionals to work on a two week on, two week off rota.

Following a person-centred care plan, you will tailor your support to meet our clients’ needs.

Your role will include:

• You’ll be matched with our client based on your skills and your client’s needs, providing tailored support and companionship
• Following our client’s individual care plan, you will generally provide a daily average of 10 hours care provision to your client
• Moving and handling
• Personal care
• Medication support
• Food and nutrition support
• Cooking, cleaning and ensuring the smooth running of the client’s home
• Competitive rates of £125 per day (up to £23k per year based on a 2 week on, 2 week off rota).
• Bank holiday rate of £187.50
• Travel allowance, up to £50 per placement
• Weekly support visits with our lovely Team Leaders and 24/7 telephone support
• Paid mileage, 45p per mile & paid car MOT
• Paid training and shadow visits
• Regular team meet-ups and social events
• Award winning training, including Care Certification, City & Guilds Dementia training and Parkinson’s Disease specialist training
• Employee Assistance Programme with access to counselling and advice

Qualifications

Qualifications

We will provide comprehensive training and on-going support.

• Professional experience with complex care needs
• Professional care experience gained in ANY care setting, such as live-in carer, domiciliary carer, care assistant, support worker, healthcare assistant or similar.
• You must be able to provide us with proof of your right to work in the UK.
• A driver’s licence and a car is an advantage but not a requirement.

You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
