Job summary

SER Limited is seeking a hands-on AV Technician to support live events at The Queens Hotel in Leeds. You will provide on-site technical support and deliver AV for clients through the hotel's events team, working with the AV Manager to ensure events are set up and operated to a high standard.

The role focuses on PA systems, projectors, control systems, monitors, microphones and video cabling, with opportunities to support other venues when required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on live events technical knowledge.
• Experience with PA systems, projectors, control systems, monitors, microphones and video cabling.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn for those without prior AV role experience.
• Knowledge of hotel conference industry would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test and operate AV equipment for live events, ensuring neat installation and high standards.
• Provide technical support for client AV requirements through the hotel's events team.
• Collaborate with the AV Manager to provide technical advice and support during events.
• Coordinate with hotel operations staff to ensure correct AV setup for each event.
• Maintain stock checks of equipment on site and perform basic maintenance and repairs.
