Job summary

PropRec Search is seeking a Technical Project Manager for live event technology, covering lighting, audio or video. The role leads technical delivery, shapes client ideas into engineered solutions, and delivers on-site experiences for high-profile events.

You will manage cross-discipline teams, develop robust technical plans, and ensure smooth integration of lighting, sound and video systems across projects. A proactive, organized leader with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum proven experience in live events or technical project delivery.
• Deep expertise in lighting, audio, or video with broad knowledge of others.
• Ability to design and interpret technical solutions for events.
• Proficiency in creating equipment lists, plots, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with clients through clear communication in person or remote.
• Translate briefs into technically robust solutions and lead delivery on-site.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative and technically sound responses to briefs.
• Produce quotations, proposals, and technical solutions aligned with client needs and budgets.
• Lead and motivate technical teams across multiple concurrent projects.
• Create technical documentation including specs and plots.
• Oversee on-site delivery across lighting, audio, and video departments.
• Manage logistics, budgets and resource planning for projects.
