Job summary

MERITUS are recruiting for a Live Build Manufacturing Technician to join our client at the forefront of sovereign defence manufacturing projects. The role is inside IR35, £29.70 per hour, based in Henlow, Bedfordshire, with a 12-month term and a strong likelihood of permanent placement.

You must have an Apprenticeship background with certificates and relevant manufacturing experience. The position involves certifying products, performing manufacturing, testing and inspections, and maintaining

Qualifications

• Must have apprenticeship background with certificates.
• Experience in a Manufacturing / Craftsman position.

Responsibilities

• Carry out manufacturing, test and inspection tasks in Live Build Facility.
• Certify product in line with certification procedure.
• Maintain product certification and approvals via audits.
• Be conversant with equipment, tools and measuring instruments.
• Ensure timescales and budgets are met for manufacturing build and test.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and documentation.
