A reputable legal firm in the UK is seeking a qualified solicitor with at least 2 years PQE in litigation and contentious probate. The role offers flexibility across multiple locations and involves managing high-value cases, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court. This is a great opportunity for professional growth in a supportive environment.
This opportunity offers flexibility across multiple East Midlands locations and is ideal for a solicitor with experience in litigation and a strong interest or background in contested estates. You’ll work with high-value clients, manage complex caseloads, and play a pivotal role in the firm’s growing litigation department. With a supportive team and clear pathways to progression, this role provides a strong foundation for long-term career success.
You’ll act for clients in all areas of contentious probate, including disputes over wills, inheritance claims, and estate administration conflicts. Your responsibilities will involve drafting pleadings and legal documents, liaising with counsel and experts, attending mediations, and representing clients in court proceedings. You\'ll manage your own caseload from initial instruction through to resolution, working independently and collaboratively to deliver exceptional outcomes.
You are a qualified solicitor with at least two years’ post-qualification experience in litigation, ideally with exposure to contentious probate matters. You bring sound legal judgment, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to handle emotionally sensitive disputes with empathy. A confident advocate and a thoughtful advisor, you’re ready to lead your cases while contributing to the development of the wider team.
If you\'re ready to progress your career with a firm that recognises and nurtures legal talent, we’d love to hear from you.
